About Me
I am a landscape designer and gardener with a passion for plants and a minor vendetta against squirrels. I have a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University - Pomona and I’m an associate member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
My work is primarily residential and focuses on native plants, water management, and designing reasons to get people outside and enjoying their gardens. I am enthusiastic about managing soil health through testing, amending, and irrigation. While I have extensive knowledge and experience working with native California plants, I also enjoy plants from Mediterranean climates that match ours, such as those found in South Africa, Australia, and southern Europe. I take fire defense into consideration with every design and leave my clients with the knowledge they need to maintain their gardens and help their spaces thrive.
In addition to my design work, I am an avid gardener who enjoys being outside with my dogs, growing my own food, and spending time with my family. I spend my spare time volunteering at a local food bank where I design, build, and maintain their garden.
